My numbers

Your agents need a phone number to answer calls and to call people. My Numbers is where you buy numbers and decide which agent uses each one.

You will need: credits in your balance to buy a number.

1. Open My Numbers

Open Numbers > My Numbers. Each number shows its Region, the agent that answers it (Inbound), the agents that may call from it (Outbound) and its Billing.

2. Buy a number

Press Buy number. Pick the Country. If you want a particular area, type it in Prefix or area code, or digits the number should contain in Contains digits. Press Search.

Under Available Numbers, each row shows the Number, its Location, any Requirement, and an Action. Press Rent or Buy on the one you want. It is paid from your credits and appears in My Numbers.

Note

Some countries ask for proof of identity or address before a number can be bought. In the Country list they are marked “(ID required)” or “(KYC required)”, and the Requirement column says what is needed. Message us if you need a number in one of these countries and we help you through it.

3. Choose who answers and who calls

Back on My Numbers:

• In the Inbound column, pick the agent that answers calls to the number. You can also do this on Inbound.
• In the Outbound column, tick the agents that may call people from this number. These agents can then pick it as the Dialing Number in a campaign.

4. Release a number you no longer need

If a number has a Release button, press it to give the number up. Calls to it stop straight away and the number cannot be recovered, so move your agents to another number first.

Common failures

Buying says "Add Foan credits before buying this number."

Your balance is too low. Press Wallet on the Buy number page, or open Billing, top up, then buy again.

The search finds no numbers

Try without Prefix or area code or Contains digits, or try a nearby area. If a country never shows numbers, message us.

I already have numbers with a calling provider

Message us and we connect your account to Foan. Your numbers then show here and on Telephony providers.

A teammate opens Buy number and sees "Your manager controls this"

Their login is limited to taking calls. Someone with a full login has to buy the number.
